Sesame Rice Recipe

Ingredients for masala :  

Cooked Rice - 1 bowl
Sesame Seeds - 2 Tbsp
Toor Dal - 1 Tbsp
Red Chillis - 5 to 6 nos.
Dry Coconut (kopparai) -  1 Tbsp

For tempering :

Oil - 1 Tbsp
Chana Dal - 1 tsp
Urad Dal - 1 tsp
Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
Peanuts - few
Cashew nuts - few
asafoetida powder - a pinch
red chilli - 2 nos.
curry leaves - few
salt

Method :

1. Dry roast Sesame seeds, toor dal, red chillis &  dry coconut
2. Let them cool and grind to powder
3. Temper chana dal, urad dal, mustard seeds, peanuts & cashew nuts, asafoetida powder, red chillis, curry leaves & salt
4. Add the rice and mix well in low flame
5. Add the masala powder and check for seasoning.
6. Finally add ghee, mix well and serve hot!
